Enjoy a delicious Christmas dinner in your home featuring the best local ingredients prepared with care by The Woodshed Team. Our Christmas Turkey Dinner set features beautiful Byron Family Farm turkey with all of the trimmings; rosemary cream mashed potatoes, local cranberry sauce, Francis Bread stuffing, honey roasted vegetables and our rich turkey gravy. Our vegetarian dinner set features a roasted vegetable Wellington with all of the trimmings, a decadent and delicious vegetarian option. We have designed these sets per person, and each set can be easily multiplied for larger groups. All of our Christmas menu items are fully cooked and just need to be reheated in a 350 degree oven until heated through. Our cranberry sauce, turkey gravy, honey roasted veggies and stuffing are also available to order à la carte.

A highlight of the holiday season in our kitchen is our traditional Tourtière, made with spiced Vancouver Island pork and our buttery pastry. We recommend heating your Tourtière in the oven and serving it with our fresh cranberry relish. It is our family tradition to serve a warm Tourtière on Christmas Eve as part of an easy an elegant meal along with our favourite cheeses, pickles, olives and smoked salmon platter. We will be stocking many of our holiday cheeses and more in the shop in the weeks leading up to Christmas, be sure to stop by to see what we have brought in to help celebrate the holiday season!

For dessert, we have our fresh sugar pumpkin pies, local Saltspring Apple Pies, and a wonderful trifle made with layers of vanilla cake, creme anglaise, fruit compote and softly whipped cream. We also have our citrus olive oil cake with sugared cranberries and our fresh ginger pear cake available to order.

Please note Christmas preorders will be ready for pick up at the shop on Christmas Eve between 11-2 pm. The shop will be closing at 3 pm that day so that our staff may enjoy the holiday with their families.
