This week's menu is a true taste of the season. Our Squash & Apple Soup brings light curry spices, local apple and squash together in a warming early autumn bowl. For the main, Cider Braised Pork Shoulder sits on rosemary mashed potatoes with seasonal vegetables. Alongside, our Candied Squash and Kale Salad — a staff favourite, with candied delicata squash, tender marinated kale, spiced pumpkin seeds and our rich glory bowl dressing. For dessert, take your pick between a nostalgic Saltspring Apple Pie with streusel topping made with just-harvested local apples.

We're proud to be a designated stop on this Sunday's Apple Fest farm tour — with two ways to visit us! The shop will be open all weekend with artisan baking, seasonal sweet and savoury pies, cozy autumn soup, crisp local apples, seasonal entrées and local harvest salads, all packed and ready for lunch on the go or dinner at home.

And on Apple Fest Sunday, the Hart family invites you to their home — where The Woodshed began — for handcrafted provisions and artisan treats. Enjoy cozy autumn-inspired lunch focaccia rounds, savoury 36 Acres pork and apple pies, local harvest salads, and a warming autumn soup, plus signature cookies and fresh apples by the pound. There will also be a curated pour of local beer, cider and wine to sip and savour during a break from your farm touring.
